I haven't seen a forecast like this for the northern inland waters in a few years! Tomorrow looks like it could be the nuke of the year. "Frequent gusts to 50 knots" = I N S A N E

Thursday afternoon looks crazy too!

Is it likely to be the same with the logs up on the beach tomorrow?

Today (Tue) logs at 3rd Ave were hazardous from 7:30am to 9:30am. By 10am logs stopped shooting out due to the ebbing tide. Unfortunately, the wind also tanked at 10am.

Tomorrow (Wed) the tide starts ebbing at 10am but the wind should last much longer.

Not sure what access to Centennial Beach will be like tomorrow morning. I just heard the Delta has declared a state of emergency for the communities of Boundary Bay and Beachgrove, due to anticipated flooding and emergency repairs to a section of collapsed seawall in front of a home near Centennial.
Anybody see any of that trouble there today?

A seawall collapse right before the expected high tide, storm surge, and SE'ly wind is a bad combination!
