Good luck. I curious what a westerly is like at PR but I'm sticky with Acadia today.

Rigging 5.3 and a 100l. Haven't been out yet but feels like I'll be overpowered. Have a 4.7 in case.

The 5.3 is what I sail on a good Squamish day at nexen...

I'm sure Pt Bob would snag some of the wind swell that would sneak by the terminal and it would be great to check out. Debating between there and Acadia. Original forecasts didn't show much wind making it into English bay but latest reports seem to indicate otherwise. Packing the van now, hopefully Alton's OSR from Acadia will shed more light on the subject!!

Got to Acadia to find 10-15 people standing around...not a good sign. Very little wind here but quite a bit of wind swell rolling in from the straight.

Figure the outflows are affecting the wind here, Pam Rocks is still outflowing@30 even though forecast to diminish. Probably made the wrong call though do I wait it out or head to Point Bob....
