Today was crazy in Squamish, and I missed out on the action... Looks like it could go off again tomorrow. Might skip class for a rip. Anyone else interested in joining me? It is an outflow set up so staying in the estuary opposite the river should be all good. Btw Alton, sorry "God" Nice work on the site :D

Hey Adrian

Is an outflow in the bay at Squamish safe and sailable? Never thought about sailing an outflow. Is that were Francois sailed today (Sunday) or was it the river (scary current)?

Forecasts show outflows may die off towards noon so get there as early as possible ... brrrr.

I'm going to be busy Monday morning so I can't make it.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the compliments. It's work in progress but getting great feedback for improvements from everyone. Thx

Today Francois was in the estuary side. Looked like gorge conditions. Anyway, my take for an outflow is stay up in the estuary side for assurance. Don't sail in the river or bay ( even though it looked wicked) and it should be good. Cheers. Hope others make it...

Hey Adrian

Looks a windy but gust at Squamish. You should check out Porteau Cove on your way up.
