Tuesday - wind or ski

Looks like a big SW maybe going W tomorrow in relatively warm temperatures. Usually not many wind days this time of year with the cold . But also sounds like Cypress is improving (I'm at zero ski sessions...). Kind of wonder if the wind could be an issue on the ski hill? Time for one. Alas, tough decisions

I have both surfboard and snowboard packed in the car.

Tentative plan - I'll snowboard until it's tracked out ... then move to Ambleside if still SW or Spanish Banks if clocked W.

Well White Rock was not the right call today. Windsurfed on 86l board with 4.5 sail. I count it as a session but it was very holey and onshore. Most interesting part was shloging through some impressive waves. I did get a little taste of the feeling of windsurf and would like more (it's been quite a while).

I have to agree! [Edit] It was a tough call, the forecast and actuals when I arrived looked very good! Things were very different on the water though. Sad because it could have been epic with those big waves! The wind just didn't cooperate. I'm kicking myself for not winging from the start. Hope this cold snap doesn't last and we can get back on the water again soon.

Double (maybe 1 1/2) session. After snowboarding at Cypress, I darted down to Spanish Banks to catch the tail end. 8m+surfboard in W18-16 for almost 1hr as it was tanking.
