Desperately want to but the rain is an issue. Isn’t it somewhat dodgy launching in south wind in Boundary Bay? Any idea why the BB cam isn’t working?

Another amazing session on 7M kite and SB. On the water right when it picked up with much of it a solo session. Some multi front side turns on the same wave today.
Would have liked to add windsurf part 2 session but ribs still not 100% and want to avoid a long issue. Lots of folks showing up as I left to beat traffic.

You made the right call. I did the multi sport session today, the second half windsurfing and unfortunately the wind didn't last. I though it was going to build until dark like forecast but it didn't happen. The winging part of the session was epic! Best winging session I've had locally. Was on the water around noon and the waves were shaping up nicely! Got in my longest wave rides yet, flagged out heal side then into long toe side rides flagged out. So much fun! I'm glad I rigged my W730 instead of the 799 today, it really handles the waves nicely and turns super sharp. The 3.5M wing was too much though, I should have been on a 2.5. I got worked a few times in the break when I feel and it was hard getting back up, that stink bug start is really hard in breaking waves! I really miss the windsurf style water start! It was nice to be back on the windsurfer while it lasted though. I haven't windsurfed in 6 months, my none weed fins were still on my board from the Oregon coast! I managed one backloop attempt and then the wind died. Windsurf jumps seem inconsequential after winging! I hope I can get in a few more sessions before I return to the coast! I wish more windsurfers had shown up!!

Double session. After a mediocre snowboarding morning at Cypress, this epic 5m wave session in SSE 25-30 made my day. Tons of bottom turns in waist high breaking waves enjoyed by 8 kites (mainly on 8-10m). Shared some waves with Rob D who was also on 5m+surfboard. Great way to start off the new year :D

Got a ride after work 3 till dark at WREB. Typical gusty SE, but got my first powered TT session on my 9m that I picked up early November 2023

First time Windsurfing in about 2 years. Arrived at CNL around 2:30 and saw 3 or 4 Windsurfers partially planing.
Rigged 4.7 and took out the 101L and it was perfect. Well powered and you couldn't, not jump on the way out. Surprisingly, I didn't forget how to sail and everything was dialed in and I had fun. Nailed all my jibes and got a few waist high to slighly bigger wave rides changing direction 2 times each time.

The tide was dropping and the wind backed off so called it around 4pm. Good to see a few familiar faces (Michael and Jens) and meet a couple others.
