Definitely west POSSIBLE tomorrow.

I see on the news words like "a series of storms" , So where are the big winds!? And I mean the ones where all the models light up.

Having said this, any day on the water beats one in the office. Also, the rain beats the cold fog.

Watching Sunday for possible light SE...

There is a kite out at White Rock. And pretty windy (& gusty) at Harrison.

Strange how it's still windy at White Rock but no wind here, and cranking at Harrison. Looks like it over 40 knots now. :o

I got a few runs in at the ferry terminal before it died. Strange that’s two weekends in a row on a westerly that whiterock lasted longer than the ferry terminal.

That was me on the webcam!

Scored an enjoyable session foiling on my 11m Boxer kite with 14m lines. Eel grass is starting to beak up and bis less of an issue, but the king tide was bringing in the bull kelp. Had more than a couple high speed face plants!

Played in the shadow of the pier, less weeds, warmer and the little thigh high waves were fairy clean and good to surf & boost off. I was happy the wind held in the mid teens for a few hours after dawn.

Launching and landing on the king tide was super sketchy, but the short lines made the risk more manageable.

I saw that White rock was stronger than Ferry Terminal and decided to try new spot. Went to Crescent Beach. Unfortunately wind was light 13-14kn and lots of weeds. But still had 1h session on 5m kite foil. It was sunny and warm.
Tomorrow probably FT or 3d depends on direction.
