I took advantage of a slower day at work to make my comeback (after several years) to kiting with coastal-like waves at Tower Beach. 4-5 other kiters out and one Wing near the Dolphin along with seals, eagles, and many other lesser birds. Also many dogs at the park and on the Spanish Banks. Amazing day, I'm glad I pulled that old gear out of the shed.

Yeah, today looked like ideal conditions. I was too beat up and sun burnt though. Tomorrow looks like it might be nice too, especially with 24 degree air. Probably gonna hit it even though it wont be as windy as today.

Great session at Jericho on 86l 4.5 sail windsurfer. Choppy going out to go upwind but very nice coming back to beach. Got to try Tower beach etc... maybe tomorrow if wind is 20 knots.

Anybody windsurf there before? Things to be aware of other than a long low tide walk?

What a treat! Got out after work and got to enjoy 2hrs winging from 6 to 8pm at Locarno.

Was way over powered on the 5m but it didn’t matter the feeling riding the swell was all time!

After watching the wind all day I finally got out for a sunset session. Went to the Terminal thinking it would be a nice flat water practice session easy on the knee. I could see white caps and that the wind was concentrated near the end of the terminal and out in the straight. Rigged the 3.5 but when I hit the water I thought I had maybe been a bit too optimistic. Slogged out to the wind line and then was fully lit. Jerin showed up, joined me up wind and then coaxed me out into the straight past the end of the Terminal. Wow, what a blast, nice large easy rollers to play on. Felt a little nervous being way out there and thoughts of last weeks bladder fail and Long Beach rescue made me slowly make my way back inside the bay. Decided to work on some moves once back the the flat water and things really clicked. Finally nailed a toe side tack and a heel side! Then I foiled out of a 360 for the first time, a sweet way to end the day! Looking like Oregon might be my next session!
