I started the day on a 5.2 windfoil, then my b&j and 4.6. That didn't really work, the gusts were there but so were the holes. I think that was maybe around 11:30. I then switched to 4.6 and windfoil and that's when the wind really kicked in. I didn't really even sheet in and the board popped up. Starboard tacks towards the beach were fun but port tacks were pretty intense. At that point I should have gone back to the fin but I had strained a muscle and was cold so called it a day.
I'm not the best judge but I found it hard to pick the right setup with the wind changing to much. I think Take hit it the best, rigging two boards and two sails and starting around noon. In hindsight, I think the best window was around 1pm when my 4.6 and 84L would have worked the best.
