Good score for those that got out yesterday. Wish I joined. I didn't like the direction or trust the forecast which resulted in lacking motivation.

Maybe today. Ferry terminal seems promising (was there speculation of protests...). Maybe later morning Jericho foiling? Forecast points to too light for other options at that location.

I plan on foiling at Jericho. FT has been showing good wind for a while, I wonder what it's like on the water.

Went to the terminal for an early morning sail. Rigged my 5.0 wing and was overpowered. Sailed for about 20 minutes then came in and got the 3.5. When I got back out it suddenly switched to SW then completely died. While I was packing up it looked like it was coming back. You could see it was super windy in the straight but my window was done. Looks like it has picked up again as trees are blowing at my place.

It turned out nicer at 2.30 and onward. Wind ramped to 28 knots. Accompanied by 10 other kiters and 3 of us windsurfing.

Pinched out a late afternoon session at the Ferry Terminal in NW 16-18. 12m+surfboard mowing the lawn in flat water until I got bored of mowing.

Today went to Jericho around 9am. When I arrived it died. Lots of us were waiting for wind to come. Me and Francis decided to drive to Tsawwassen terminal around noon. There were at least 10 kites on a water. Was kitefoiling on 7m. Wind was much gustier than yesterday and I had to depower a lot today. I think it was gusting to 27kn. Wind was much cleaner and better far from shore and downwind. Not too bad for off shore. My thought was worst case I will end up at the houses down and have to walk back 2km to terminal.
It was glassy water no swell rides.
PS: wind did come to Jericho as well but a little later.

Nice day at Jericho from 3:00 to 5:00. Wind was around 10-17, up and down, enough for a 5m wing and big foil. Surprisingly felt warm for my first day this year, hope spring comes fast.
