Session 1 - Scored the dawn patrol session from Spanish Banks to Acadia with another dude from Victoria - both of us on 12m+surfboard. Waves a little disorganized but plenty of waist high wave rides to be had for 2 hrs in W 18-20. When we returned to Spanish Banks the wind was pretty dead. The other dude barely made it in. I had to self-rescue, turn my kite into a sail and patiently drift in.

The poor guy who kindly launched us said 5 minutes after launching us the wind tanked at Spanish Banks ... so lucky we made it up to Acadia.

Session 2 - On the way home, I decided to check out Ambleside to find a bunch of 12m+TT on the water ... so I got back into my wet wetsuit (ouch!) and returned to the water for another hour on 12m+surfboard in WSW 16-20 with the usual waves and crazy ass voodoo waves in the shipping lane.

Great to see the North Shore crowd and some Squamish regulars.
