At dawn patrol + low tide, I scored a 1 hr wave session on 12m+surfboard with 2 other kiters in SSE 16-18. Waves were only knee high but super clean for tons of awesome wave rides.

Unexpected fun afternoon. Almost missed it and was in a panic to get on the water. Made the mistake of not taking out the shim I put in yesterday, couldn't figure out why I couldn't get going felt like I had a pile of weeds on and kept checking. Finally it dawned on me just as the rain squall moved in and killed the wind. Super frustrated that I'd blown my session but I was too stubborn to quit. Stayed out just slogging around then the wind kicked back in and it was great! Got 2 hours of sailing in the sunshine as the wind slowly moved SW! When it was on it was much better than yesterday although not a lot of waves. Got a few really jumps in today, just started small but got some air and landed on my back. Fun!

Fun session. From sunshine to rain, to rainbows back to sunshine.
