OSR Centennial. Does the wind ever settle down here? Looks like 4.5 or 3.7.

Hmm... Might be interesting. Seemed like it dropped but based on BB airport sensor still strong wind. So I think more south in it now. Thinking 4.5.

I tweaked my back yesterday, pulling mo downhaul. Hardly slept, so I guess it’s time to prep for back to school. Have fun!

Fun little fully powered 4.2 session in the sunshine with Mike. Surprisingly clean waves. Nice to sail relaxed and in control for a change. A few logs and weed patches due to the high water. We called it after the wind shadow at shore got too big for comfort. Warm up for Tuesday.

Best waves of the year !!!

Arrived at 3rd Ave for dawn patrol (8am) but tethered launch was too sketchy as kite drifted towards the logs and powered up chaotically in the south wind ... then finally someone showed up to give me a launch.

Marginally powered on 7m+surfboard in a declining forecast. Waves were amazing, clean and head high under sunny sky ... never seen it this high in years. Unfortunately, had to cut my session short as my back gave out.

Yesterday, my back gave out (muscle spasm) after peeling off my wetsuit. I suspect it's all these consecutive sessions absorbing sharp disorganized waves during high tide on a strapless surfboard. Since last night I took 3 robaxin muscle relaxant tablets so I thought I was good to go ... but this mornings session proved me wrong.
