AHC. Departure got delayed, opted for drive south (White Rock East Beach) over west (Acadia) to sail with old friends and reduce my drive time to the water, but still missed the power hour. DB sounded happy having scored the peak wind, but Tsawwassen and Gleb both had long faces as they missed most of it too. Rigged big gear and was treated to a few rides and jumps on big gear on the back side of the wind hump. In hindsight should have taken the longer drive and score more wind instead of hanging out with the ‘Acadia-Haters-Club’ down south. Met David Ezzy’s cousin Peter on the beach – he was really pleased to see the Ezzy logo on my sail! If you could combine the summer thermals of Squamish with the wave shape of White Rock East Beach is would be magic!

Jens, I think you're right! I'm hoping for any winds soon though!
