Nicely powered with 3.1m^2 with 74 L TT board at SB. Forced to windsurf as when pumping my 5m^2 kite only to discover missing my bar.

Or maybe my bar chicken out after witnessing a drag and drop by SB beach

Well that was really good!! sailed 4.5/89ltr. Overpowered at times. A mix of nice clean waves and messy waters. Got some great turns in and felt warmer than last couple Acadia session. But small turnout though and only a handful or so windsurfers out.

Did anyone get footage today? Windsurf, kite, wing? Show us what you've got!

Tough day at Spanish Bank. Underpowered with 7m on the "high wind" setting and Spanish Bank chop was super nasty. Heading out kept falling off my strapless surfboard hitting disorganized A-shaped ramps. Lost a lot of ground and eventually had to do the walk of shame from Locarno. Foot straps would have made a big difference today. Regardless, gybes were plenty fun.

Dropped by Ambleside to see what I missed. Sean complained the chop was just as nasty at Ambleside.

For me it was a tale of two sessions.

Session 1 was from West Concession down to Tolmie St.. Nasty gusty wind, and nasty choppy water. Wind had a lot of South in it and the waves at Tolmie were side off wind which was interesting as it's something I've never sailed before. Fighting to drive upwind to stay on the wave. With the gusts though it wasn't worth it.

Session 2 wasn't really a different session, it just felt so different I'm calling it session two. After fighting the gusts and nasty choppy waves to get back up to the West Concession I almost called it a day at that point but instead decided to press on up to Dog Beach to check it out. Oh man was I glad I did, scored an amazing session on big smooth waves between Dog and Acadia with just Sixlinewrass and I out. The wind was way better up west too and the waves were offering up 4-5 turns and just kept going. Eventually the wind started to tank around 2:30 and I called it a day with arms burning from looping my kite while smackin' waves.

Sweet fully powered Four O session at Acadia, nice waves and punchy wind. Surprised how warm the water and air felt, glad to see a few friendly faces on the beach. Hopefully december brings a couple more acadia sessions.

Solid sunny Acadia session enjoyed by 6 windsurfers. 4.2 (should have went 3.7) 11:15-12:45. Was a bit of a handful in the beginning with angry gusts and lumpy bits but there were smooth long open sections to be found. The wind backed off a bit and things got real nice in the second half. Minimal wood and debris today and the meat grinder launch at the last high tide session was not present today. Took a few pics after I got off the water.

Overpowered on my 4.7 at White Rock EB for the first 30 mins and then it backed off so I was well powered for the next hour and came off the water around noon when it backed further. Nice waist to chest high waves with some bigger sets early on but they dropped away as the wind backed off. Good wind-wave angle for jumping (starboard) and riding on the way in. Enjoyed a mainly solo session but a few Kiters joined as well and Gleb and Michael caught the end of it windsurfing. It was nice to time it right today.

Arrived to see Darrel lit on the 4.7 but by the time I hit the water it was too light for my 4.7, rigged up but not in time. Classic White Rock slog fest.
A few shots of Darrel.
