Yep, g-spot called it.

Crazy number of windsurfers today. Around 25. Everyone called in sick for their zoom meeting.

Someone just went out at FT. Probably 15-18 SW knots.

Come on out if you like sailing in the dark..

Thank you for letting me know about it and encouraging me to come!

The wind after the 12:00 lull was stronger than the wind from 11:00-12:00 and the waves got bigger.

Glad I stuck around to make make up for some of the morning wind I missed.

Good call pinching out that last hour.

I was exhausted and changing out of my wetsuit watching the iKitesurf sensor with a major sense of FOMO ... but was selfishly relieved when it tanked after 1pm

Well that was really really fun!!! waves were especially good first half of the morning. Sailed 4.5/89ltr, felt good in the varied winds we had. Great smooth surfable waves and some good ramps. First time I tried back loops(thanks for the tips Michael), had about 8 failed attempts but at at least I'm over that mental barrier of even trying them now  .

@ bandito . That sounds shitty, hopefully not too bad, good luck!

yesssss, mr boo boo again! got a fracture on right leg somewhere under knee that may not require cast or surgery(will see in 2 weeks ) and some sore muscles.... i was very lucky i didnt blow my knee or brake bad....

im The Booboo Master ha ha!

all good, it is nothing compare to broken snowboarding leg against a tree that happened deep in The Forbiden Zone or shattered shoulder on icy groom right before Lions chair........ I wonder how Rodeo cowboys deal wt there multiple bone fractures, they must drink like fish and pop codeine by the dozen! but i dont drink and do drugs(anymore) so i will ice it and keep positive . You guys and gals get some good wind session and, DO NOT brake a leg ha ha!

I’d say that was the best Boundary Bay session so far this season, at least for me. Scored just under two hours of “prime time”, from 920-1115 am on 4.0/85 litres. Unlike last week, it felt just right!! Really nice swell and well spaced waves out at the second bank, with the right amount of power to play rather than “hang on and pray” (last week!). Great turnout of windsurfers too. I think we outnumbered the kiters again - BRAVO.

Sorry to hear about your mishap Bandito. Hope it heals quickly.
