Just an fyi. My experience with the iKitesurf/iWindsurf sensor at 3rd is that it is "fairly" accurate (it's on a house near the water) on SE, E, or ENE winds but when the wind direction goes SSE or S it is best to use the gust reading as the average wind speed.

Rocky beach at Erwin Park, just fine for windsurfing but maybe tough for kites

What a day! So fun! I don't know about wave of the day, but I definitely won kook move of the day. Jibed full speed into a sand bar and went splat. At least Brad got to see where not to go.
