I saw other people go over the handlebars on the sandbar this morning too! There must be a huge divot now!

Ouch, it was a nice wave, at least Hotsails logo high! :D

Session 69 tastes so good !!! 2 hrs wave session !!! Dialed in on 7m+surfboard in SSE 25-30.

Super fun riding breaking waves with smooth sections outside of Centennial ... a couple closed out on me - ouch! Became choppy as wind eased off so had to head further out to find those sweet waves.

Great way to end the week riding waves under sunny sky.

Fun session for about 2 hours from 8AM. Nicely formed waves for sure. Overpowered on 4.5m, some good catapults

Smiles. Decent crowd of early birds at the boat launch for dawn-ish patrol (about eight windsurfers in all). Wind looked solid on the drive down, on the graph, and on the water, but the waves looked modest. Both were understated. Waves were better than expected on the first ride out and peaked during the session - some healthy sized smoothies rolling through on the edge of the second bank. Wind also was holding back a bit and peaked during the session too. 3rd got busy with lots of kites and a few wings. Started with sail set medium (downhaul and outhaul), went full flat mid-session and back it off again to milk the longer than expected cool down session after the hole in the sky filled back in. Rides a plenty and some jumping and a few spins. Looked like Jens was enjoying jumping. Nice to see John and Kate enjoying another father-daughter windsurfing session. Lots of stoke on and off the water - smiles all around.

/edit: Was also pleased with getting most of my tacks (a first on this board) - only problem was they were all on the 'inside' as it was too much fun hooking into the swell on the outside to be tacking.

Here is some of the raw footage - I will try and pull together a highlights video when time permits.
