Looks like you're right (so far).

It may have been frowned on but I'm not working today so will take what I can get. From a windsurfer perspective, tides a bit low until around 9am anyways. It doesn't matter so much if kite is the way to go.

I'm hoping to grab a bit of windfoil action at Jericho after work today. I'm not sure how ESE works there but if the water is flat and there are some decent gusts maybe it will work ok.

It usually wraps around and hits jericho NE. I’ve had some good sessions there in those conditions.

This is true, often there's s suprising amount of North in these easterlies. Even without the north direction in them, easterlies can be ideal for windfoiling at Jericho. Some of my best lightwind windfoiling sessions there this past year have been easterlies.

Pay Parking, Not really a launch on high tide, Wind can be quite gusty with low lull, usually not as strong as Bounday Bay.

A long day of patience at Boundary Bay. 3 possible sessions between major lulls.

1. 0.25 hrs dawn patrol on 9m+surfboard in SSE 16-18 :(

2. 1.5 hrs early afternoon on 7m+surfboard in SSE 22-26. Had to hunt for clean waist high waves :)

3. over 2 hrs late afternoon on 7m+surfboard in SSE 25g30. Epic. Lots of clean waist high for plenty of toeside wave rides under sunny sky :D

Great turn out. Almost left at 3pm ... instead waited and put on my wet wetsuit for the final epic session.

Really good day on the water yesterday, pretty much rode for the entire time it was windy. It was a bit of a rodeo at times, took a bit of a beating but it was well worth it.
