Early start before noon. Scored 2 hrs on 9m+surfboard in SW 20-25 before it became gusty around 2pm. Stayed leeward of the west sandbar to keep away from the crazy crowds in the river - mitigating another kite tangle.

Resurrected an old Airush kitebar - replacing the centre line below the Y split by transplanting it from a line cut yesterday (by the newbie tomahawk). Many thanks to Jerry for all his crafty wisdom and help.

At first I thought that was a piece of wood ... but now I see it's those pieces of rusty metal wire they cut down when they "cleaned up" Nexen beach

Ouch!

Three strands of the cable went right through my boot and then about 1cm into my foot. It was pretty sore and was sore over night but Tylenol helps. Jen gave me a tetanus shot and cleaned everything.
The cable has been safely disposed of. This was just West of the point at Nexan with the flag on it.

Crappy day in Squamish. Lucky to squeeze in the best hour (1-2pm) SW 20-25+ on 9m+surfboard in the butter smooth river. Always a good day when nothing is broken or lost.

It was a bit gusty from noon until 2:00. Then it got windier. That might be the last day of wind for the summer. Enjoyed by Ross, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Chandler, Monica, and many more.
