Nice to hear the OSR's today, glad you guys got out. Stuck at work but hoping for a nice cold easterly Boundary Bay session on Saturday.

I was hoping someone would score a snow/wind double session today. Way to go Alton, and nice to have you back!

Taka. Almost didn't go, but glad I did. Thought the 4.5/92 was going to be too much, but it backed a little while I was rigging. Girthy swell early on. Chilly bare hands. New sail (I like it - sensitive, responsive, power-on-demand, controllable) - very fun! Set on 'medium' (downhaul and outhaul) and that was in the middle of the wind on offer. Solo at first, then one WS, then three kites (including Cash). Swell dropped on ebbing tide. Only hit one 'stick' today.

2 hour solo session at Garry Point Park on my 4.2 and 73L from 10:30 to 12:30. Fun waist high+ mini swell and it was nice to sail without gloves.

2hrs at Jericho from about 3:30 to 5:30pm on my 115L freeride and 5.5. Overpowered but it wasn't bad to practice sailing on the edge (for me). At one point I was having trouble not going upwind because the downwind reaches were borderline out of control for me. Starboard jibes were good practice but on the port tack I had more trouble with the chop. I wasn't sure what was going to happen with the wind, in hindsight I probably should have gone out on the 85L and 5.0.

Lubo and Tom were also at Jericho, Lubo was on a 7.8 and Tom started larger and rigged down I think.

4 hour kitesurfing session at SB/Acadia. Really loving surfboard now -- gone are the twin tip days -- well except in those boosting days and flat water conditions.

I found it pretty warm and sweating a lot -- who needs the sauna.

Next stop is North Easterly wind by Boundary Bay on Saturday. Forecast temp is 5 deg celcius with some sun.. that should be doable.
