Forecasts and tides look favourable for a midday SWerly tomorrow. I need to drive my daughter to the ferry in the morning (it they’re running) so may check it out.
Anybody thinking of Tswassen or White Rock tomorrow?

You’re quite telepathic. Am thinking of Tsawwassen tomorrow. See you there

I am watching for foiling Jericho in the early a.m., not too concerned if it's easterly or westerly.

I’m keeping an eye on Tsawwassen, thinking morning. Later in the day maybe Jericho but I don’t really need gusts over 30knots.

Patience Paid Off...
Dropped my daughter off for the 9am ferry at Tswassen then waited for a couple hours for the sun and wind to align at the sailing site. Doug and I were about to give up at about 1030 when AJ phoned to say he was on his way. Just after 11 am several other windsurfers showed up and we soon hit the water from the boat ramp, in strong 5.0 conditions.
Six windsurfers and zero kiters for about the first hour, then a couple kites finally launched down at the end of the bay.
I enjoyed a long session, a bit overpowered on 5.0/95 litres, which helped me stay well upwind and offshore. Water state was “easy chop” with a few nice waves upwind near the beach.
Enjoyed by me, Kevin, Doug, AJ, Lubo, and a very skilled windsurf-foiler from Tswassen who’s name I have already forgotten (sorry).
Quote of the day: “Except for the cold... it feels just like La Ventana out there! “ (AJ)
