Good score -I didn’t see that coming since I thought it would be too cold. Any windsurfers out?

BTW, you missed excellent groomers on sunny Cypress yesterday. They even groomed under the Raven Chair. Enjoyed by Tony, Gary and me.

Nope. Just 6 kiters toasty warm. Would have been 5.8m conditions for windsurfers.

Had a foil session in WR 10-1. Was better 1-3ish suprisingly. Things were up and down, but 10m and surf foil made it okay. First day back after broken ribs from first week of Jan. Seat harness is weird and makes it hard to ride toeside.

Felt good to be back out.

Waiting was probably the right move windsurf-wise. Brian would have been going. If I was windsurfing 86L/5.3 I PROBABLY would have gone some of the time but also lots of shogging. I was on 9M kite and not 100% sure of the cross over to 86L/5.3 other than knowing the 9M/SB combo clearly has more range. Yesterday I was mostly feeling powered enough but spent much effort staying upwind. Very unusual for how the kite power felt as I could normaly be ruthlessly riding any waves downwind and easily crank back upwind. My thinking is the incoming tide made the difference. Arrived pre-dawn feeling uncertain what would happen and on water technically before sunrise (though it was effectively light). Happy to have gotten out and sharing it with a few others.
