Scored 2 hrs (8-10am) at 3rd Ave. First 1.5 hrs solo on 12m+surfboard before Jaryn joined for the last 0.5 hr. So smooth with waist high waves upwind of the boat launch. Slightly overpowered in SSE 20 g 25.

Perfect warm up for the weekend :D

tons of weed near the shore line ... didn't notice much outside - maybe because my surfboard has weed fins

Forecasts are not very consistent: GFS says early morning wind then again late afternoon, NOAA says mid-day peak, and EC says nothing much until after dark on Saturday (and dying Sunday morning).

Tomorrow may be one of those days when you need to hang out at Centennial and catch whatever happens. At least the tide is high enough to windsurf all day.

I’m going to check early tomorrow and decide whether to make a hopeful drive.
