Let’s hope this builds! So far, most forecasts show Saturday as the better day but any weekend wind would be great

Yup, it's about time, it is November after all. I'm hoping to windfoil the SE at Jericho on Saturday. The forecast seems to just be getting better and better.

Or maybe not?...
Today was a dud at Boundary Bay. Looks like the only good wind was up at Columbia Beach on the island. Watching the webcam made me jealous!
Tomorrow still has potential for dawn patrol at Centennial. Hopefully it happens, and we’ll have at least a few windsurfers at Centennial early. Gates open at 7 am and sunrise is about 720am. I’ll go if it looks promising in the morning, and would really appreciate an OSR from anyone who is there early.

Steady. First one in the parking lot (wondered if I had the right day). Wind took its time filling in, but was pretty steady once it showed up, for the most part. Nice to see all the Mutts, south island crew and the westside crew (Redbaron)! Thanks for pulling the knives out of my back WD! Even more fun sharing time on the water! First stint was big gear that I kept ‘stumbling’ with – then tuned and then it all synced and it fell into place nicely (5.3/116). Second stint was more wind and wave (4.5/92), until there wasn’t (there was a power-half-hour in the second stint that almost had me rigging down, but flattening the sail and grabbing smaller fins made it workable). Third stint was a chill cool-down on combo gear (4.5/116) with a few nice waves rolling through once again. High-tide-all-day put main reef in play for the whole day and gave me the first fin-damage-free session at CB. My right buttock and right ankle took some hits.

Great to see Grantmac getting on it early; Udder doing so many turns into his special place (Udderland) that he disappeared over the horizon; Windoctor stress testing his ankles with endo forwards and back loops; Ozy cranking wave 360 attempts; Tsawwassen and I on consecutive waves; hearing Redbaron’s tales from the river mouth; BWD demoing his two new Goya`s; BWD and Hiyo sporting Ukee-style bushy beards; getting some fin repair advice from DavidM. Sorry again to GrantMac for just about taking his head off (glad I saw him and cut away at the last minute).

Nice score Dave and Michael! Saw you both on “CBTV” around 1pm today and was super envious of the whole crowd out there enjoying the fun looking conditions. It looked like the sea lions were enjoying it too!

Made the Journey up to Comox with 5 Van Kiters, 2 Squam Kiters and 2 Whis kiters.
Absolutely nuking from start to finish. Gusting over 40.
Barely able to hold down my 9m at times. Group on kites from 5m-9m.
2x new personal jump records over 16m. Managed to get 15x jumps over 14m!! Stoked :D  8-) Unreal day.
