If it's not windy at Long Beach go to South Chesterman's, there will probably be a few kiters there.

It might get windy out here soon but it could be a short window before it switches. Cherry Point SSE 22g27 Saturna SSW 27g31. Looks like Boundary Bay webcam is down though.

It's building up westerly here in Tofino since 10.30 am if that's any indication that it'll switch there to SW...

Skies are clearing. Come on out

Nice score AJ that place is super fun when it gets some waves!

Scored over 2 hrs at 3rd Ave in SSE 18-22 with a couple of lulls. First hour ended in a lull and a walk of shame from Centennial ... then the wind returned for another hour of fun on 12m+surfboard. Some nice waist high waves out there.

I got there for afternoon tea from 2:00 to 2:30. Day #51 for the season. Fully powered on a 5.5 sail in 15 to 20 knots of wind. Occasional waist-high ramps were light, but delicious and satisfying.

It was the second time this year I used my 5.5, the most full-meal-deal sail I own. The other time I used it was in Hood River when I was windsurf foiling in 10 knots of wind.

Turned out to be better than expected. At the beginning things were light and I thought the switch had come early but it picked up again and didn't really switch SW until after 3. Although when the wind did finally pick up the nice waves seemed to disappear. There were a few nice ramps from time to time and I had one really nice wave ride with 4 solid turns. Nice way to spend my birthday but sad there isn't more wind in the forecast.
