There’s a decent wind blowing at YVR already. I’m going to hold out for the afternoon.

So excited for this one! What are some good spots to ride on low tide apart from Spanish Banks? Terminal doesn’t work does it :(

Im thinking about going to white rock in a hour when the tide starts to come in a bit. Waves usually set up nice on westerly.

OSR Spanish Banks. Only Slappy can stay upwind on 12m. Other 12m liters are downwind

Locarno OSR. 5 knots. Sunny. Warm. I don't know if the chip stand is open. It probably is. Come on out!

Scored the morning session at Acadia from 9:30 to 12:00 (just enough sandbar to land). Only 5 kiters on 10m and 12m (Sandra on 8m+surfboard and I on 12m+surfboard).

At first gusty with a couple of major lulls then became steady W 18-22 as sky cleared. Tons of fun riding waist to chest high waves strapless. Smooooth 40' sections between waves.

Fingers crossed for a repeat tomorrow morning.

I managed to resist leaving work early and went to Iona at 2:30. A good 45 minutes on the water with my 12m then the wind dropped so we all came in. 25 minutes later it came back strong for another 45 we’ll powered on my 12 again. Never seen so many kiters at Iona. Missed the best of it in the morning but still got in some good riding.

Waited around to catch the second wind. Fun times.
