Day 1 at the Spit on 9m+TT in steady SW 25. Silky smooth water in river excellent for boosting. Big turn out around 1pm much like a typical weekend.

Perfect session after returning from a 2 week business trip in Toronto/Ottawa.

Day 2 - Decided to pinch out a session before the Spit closure (Mon-Wed). Marginally powered on 9m+TT in SW 18-22 so stayed in the river mouth for 1.5 hrs. After the chop got to me I called it a day early and beat the weekend traffic home.

The above two iWindsurf graphs seem to be too high
with respect to Alton's reported speeds,
and to the on-site sensor at the Spit, as shown below.

For example, at 2pm on May 23 the iWindsurf/iKitesurf sensor reported gusts over 40mph, in contrast to the more sensible onsite sensor which reported gusts to about 28 knots.

Better to get screenshots of the on-site sensor to post here. It's naturally a better located sensor, as has been discussed several times, plus now the iWindsurf/iKitesurf appears to be way too high.

Bent. Late start. Bigger sail and fin (looked light). Lull in the cove on launch had me wondering if I would be swimming. Rebound. River. Cliffs with Ryan. Downwinder back when the wind got spooky (shifting and oscillating hot and cold). Noticed my mast extension was bent when I derigged (odd). Then after showing Ryan and Tony I realised while driving home that the clearing sets last weekend at Long Beach likely did it when I tried to sail the SE on Friday - the last time I used that extension (that I understand).
