It looks like its dropping to more civilized wind speeds, though still holding lots of south in it. I can't speak for Iona, but agree the FT would be a sketch launch with this direction and speed.

Get out there Alton, or go to White Rock, things look nice there too!

I love those OSR's, I think Dave might have lost his mind but I want some pics of those Unicorns!!! Wish there was an Acadia webcam so I could watch the fun.

Oh ... I forgot about White Rock. Thanks for the reminder.

Can anyone comment on the White Rock kite launch today?

Any White Rock locals have an OSR? I don't trust the iWindsurf/iKitesurf reading

just came back from White Rock East Beach. It's blowing into the 30's with just a tad of offshore, making it quite gusty on the inside. 6 and 7m. out. I'm going to hold my fire for an hour or so to see if it swings a little more SW as it warms. If anyone is coming down to White Rock, with the disruptions on the rebuilding of the front we are launching from the native reservation behind the Washington Avenue Grill

It is pretty steady 5.0 (185 pound sailor) at Dunderave in wsst Van, 2 guys out, big swell and filled in nicely with a bit of a wind shadow on shore
