Yes that looks really promising. Where do you plan to go on a westerly like that? Not too familiar with the local spots still!

Spanish banks or the ferry terminal are the best westerly spots.

Kids swimming lessons and birthday party means that my only window is starting at civil twilight which is around 5:20 am tomorrow. Do any tide experts know if there is going to be enough bank to launch at Acadia at that time? Otherwise it'll be a long way upwind from the lifeguard tower...

5:20am you'll be able to see, it gets bright quickly.

Sat wind forecast has a hole at 6am on the Northern strait... I can't say if that will affect the local wind for an hour.

I kite under 20 knots, I only have a 12 so that day I'll be windsurfing

You wont need to go up to Acadia at Saturday's tides, it's pretty much 3.0m most of the day. 2.6m is where the shelf starts to get dry at the second concession which means the good waves will be between Dog Beach and Tolmie St.

If you want to launch at the Acadia bar you need 1.7m or lower.

TAF looking very good:
Sat 12am-2am W 10g20
Sat 2am-4am W 15g25
Sat 5am W 20g30
Sat 1pm WNW 22g32

Yikes! I'm expecting 7m conditions tomorrow. Maybe the wind will subside late afternoon/evening.

You can launch from Spanish Banks https://goo.gl/maps/NZv81XpVUSRzyEQF8

Which one is less sketchy for strong SW, Tsawassen or Iona? Not sure I wanna self launch next to the ferry road with 35kts...
