22g27 right now at YVR, not sure how long it will last though. I'm stuck at work but looking forward to a NW on Saturday.

Stan and I were on dawn patrol at Jericho. Solid waist high rollers and an unusual amount of North in the wind made for really fun surf conditions right next to the beach.

More days like this please and thank you.

I’m not usually a fan of “dawn patrol” but today it really helped to get out early.
Arrived at Acadia around 745 and it looked tempting - too bad I don’t like sailing there solo! Relocated to Locarno and hit the water on 5.0/95 litres by 830 am. Soon had to upsize the board but kept the 5.0 working until 930 when the wind really started to back off. Nice mini-swell and no chop kept it fun.
Took a short break to rig the 6.0 and milked it for another 40 minutes before it tanked for good around 1045. Only enough for kitefoiling after that, so I called it an early day.
Saturday looks promising...

Managed to score a sweet sunset solo session at kits today. Fairly light wind but enough to have some fun on a 12m. Weird wind angle today, WSW coming over the land making it quite holy.
