Greenlake OSR. NE 5 to 12 knots . -12celcius with flurries. Lake frozen with fresh snow on it but still can feel the hard rock frozen ice so a good ass pad would be nice. Snow with ice is crunchy but skis can slice through them. Putting on my skis now and rigging 6m. All alone here. Come on out.

Super awesome at Greenlake. At first it felt weird on skis then got a hang of it after a while. Pretty steady I’d say . Fully powered on 6m with 12 to 15 knots. Had it depowered a lot as not much friction on snow . Self launch was ok then landing was a bit of a challenge as kite won’t drop on its nose on ice and snow so had to find my self a tree root to anchor the kite. Hmmm still windy maybe 2nd session. Bonus not cold at all when moving

These seem
To be becoming popular, sumhow. They come with matching knee pads too.

Surprisingly good day today even with dark low clouds which didn't kill the wind or made it gusty. There were some lulls but skis seem to better than snowboard handling the lulls -- for obvious reason - I could still stand if the kite drops and not drop my bum on those hard rock ice.

Tomorrow, Monday, is looking like another outflow with temp gradient of 14 deg celcius between Lillooet and Vancouver. It'll be sunny not sure if that will make the wind smoother. EC is forecasting 35-45 knots outflow and I think, with today's experience, that translates to ~10 to 20 knots at Green Lake. Small kite is good enough -- I actually find 6m too big.

I'm going again for (hopefully) third session in a row.

Gusting to 64 knots at Pam Rocks in Howe Sound as of 9 pm! Even too windy down at Bowen to run the ferry tonight.
