Outflow at Green Lake too. Forecasting 14 degrees temp diff between Lillooet and Vancouver.

Definitely warmer riding on snow (-8 deg celcius) than on water (0 deg celcius)

Looks quite easterly, which will work well for the secret spot:

The sea to sky will probably be a death trap this weekend, so I'd rather keep it in my back yard. The temps on offer might provide a new personal best.

You're right it's been warm the past few days -- thanks to the side effects of "Global Waming" at the US Mid West.

Joking aside, I don't know if lake is solid frozen -- will drop by on Sunday (was hoping Saturday but seems there's wind at Acadia/SB). Will try out on Snday if it doesn't work out -- up to the Blackcomb mountain for a POW day.

Never been at Green Lake with outflow and snowing -- but in my experience there -- outflows even on sunny days are gusty -- so not sure how the snow/cloud is going to effect the wind if any.

Monday will be sunny and also forecasting outflow -- and hopefully by then the lake resolidfies itself after the cold freeze in the weekend.

Even with the warmish temps lately I would expect the lake to not have melted at all. These highs of 5-6 degrees only last for an hour and in reality for 18 of the 24 hours of the day it's 0 degrees or colder.

It will mean rain having fallen though so I'd expect nasty conditions or solid ice (bring hockey skates) until the village gets more fresh snow.
