Wowsers super steady 25 knots at Centennial in the morning with some nice mackers (Michael's terminology)!

Après at The White Spot to end the 2018 season!

Meh. Quick look-see at Crescent (big gear wind and flat) on what I thought was my way to Birch Bay.

White Rock West Beach and East Beach (some wavelets, but light close to shore and SSE).

Text from Tsawwassen just as CNL kicked. CNL it was. Rain, flat light, two kites up and one swimming, just barely enough wind to pull us off the beach. SSE direction made for a point fest until the tide eased. The odd snake and the odd ladder. Nice to get out, but not very shiny.

Sorry I missed White Spot!
Almost epic, but not. There were some nice markers :D limping around the house now because of one. :o Dropped down a big steep face and the nose went straight in, me head over heels but front foot stayed in the straps. Didn't hurt much at the beach but once defrosted the pain kicked in. Waves started building and there were some steep ramps, south wind made for some nice jumping but just when it started to get epic wind and waves faded away. Still a nice way to end the year. :D

The SW never really materialized on the N Shore but AJ squeezed in a light-wind kiting session at Ambelside just before sunset.

Thanks Brian. The bridge in the background is nice.

I probably should have joined Alton at 72nd today but I was too worried about the SW switch so I opted for an Iona session hoping for a good westerly. Sadly it came after dark.

3 hours on the water from 1 'til 4.
