Just got to Iona, it’s absolutely cranking here, gusting over 40, smoke on the water. Not happy to go out on this solo.

Pressure trends are now rising big time and the direction has switched from SE to S and even a bit of SW near the west entrance of Juan de Fuca.

The surface low is estimated to be passing just north of Whistler right now. We should see the winds really crank up now with the cold front passage imminent.

The highest forecast winds today were associated with the cold front passage not the warm front SE winds this morning.

Should be an epic couple of hours until sunset. Ramp angles at Centennial are so sweet for jumping when the winds go south and the water is still big.

There was probably an hour or so Iull after the warm front SE winds this morning.

You don’t see Sandheads steady at 57 knots gusting to 67 knots too often

Osr Ambleside. Crazy gust lifted me off the ground for 2 secs and so I released the kite. Someone called ambulance for me. But am ok. This place is pretty sketchy. Perhaps it's the wind clocking that creates turbulence. Waiting for SW. Stupid CTV filming me. They better blur my face
