Took off early from work and caught the last half hour before dark on my 10m at 3rd.

Glad I did, was a blast.

And I got a tank of gas and a bottle of wine for the wife...

Just like last Thursday (except 30' spacing vs 40') nicely formed chest high waves with silky smooth sections between. SSE 25-30 on 7m+surfboard. 2 hrs (2-4pm) of awesome wave rides between 3rd Ave and Centennial. Only 4 kiters today but 3 windsurfers? Fun riding with Michael but overpowered so had to return to shore to re-trim kite for high wind.

:D For a while it was just Alton and I on the water, a throw back to the good old days! I was trying to film Alton but I think I spoiled a few of his wave rides! :D Some really nice waves at first but the wind was a little light, 5.2/102L then things picked up, 5.2/80L, the tide dropped and the waves got a little smaller. Still some nice ramps and I finally went for a back loop, first one this fall, landed nose first but I was hooked in :o, not a good idea but it was close. Nice day but wish the wind was up when the waves were, things just haven't been lining up this fall.

Hey Jeff - Where can I get this wind graph in real time? WR wind sensors are rare. Is it accurate?

Is this from the Davis / WeatherLink station called VE7EY_WR at Royal Ave and Balsam?

Alton, I posted the graph of Eastpoint (not WR) off big wave Dave.

I don’t trust the sensors for WR. I use the white rock pier camera, but be aware of its location behind the pier makes it hard to gauge water state.
