Been watching this as well but can't get away during the week as I have something on at work everyday, but will be up there on Sat if the forecast holds. This morning looked marginal with an hour or 2 gusting over 30 but only 2 degrees. Thursday and Friday look better than tomorrow though. If you go please leave a session log as my last trip up wasn't the normal set up and I hope it was a one off.

You got it, DB. Saturday would have been my pick too (might still be), but a certain river man said "tomorrow is the day". I'm hitting the office early to allow for a 2-3h get-away midday, if Pam Rocks lights up. 10am is when Windguru is suggesting the peak will be, but the outflows can be a bit mysterious...

Some days will shut down by 11am where others rage most of the day. It looks like this pattern is here until the weekend so I think it will start around midnight and blow until noonish and then back off for most of the afternoon and then repeat the cycle each night/day until Sat afternoon/evening. Hopefully it's a little warmer than 2 degrees though as even with gloves anything under 5 is tough to deal with unless it's sunny. Enjoy and I look forward to reading your session log.

It never really kicked today, and with work commitments, Saturday might be my only option to try it, DB.

Will be keeping an eye on the forecast and keep ya posted.

AG, I saw that too. Sunday may be an option as well but let's see what happens over the next couple days. Living vicariouly through our local crew in Maui at the moment so please keep the pics and posts coming M, J & H.

It looks like it's not going to happen this cycle. Just not enough.
