I only have the morning today and thought BB would be a lot windier by now

Hope people get out and enjoy the afternoon, should be good once it arrives!!

Hey Lucas - Is 3rd Ave beach flooded with water? Is there a lot of debris (logs) floating along the shoreline?

I want to know if we can launch a kite this time tomorrow (Tue morning).

Without the wind you won't have the storm surge and thus won't have as high water so right now won't be a great indicator.

Mind you if it's over the beach now it sure would be tomorrow if it was windier.

Actually if you toggle back and forth between "South 1" and "Access" you can see the water looks like it's over the beach even without the wind.

Best bet is 12 noon until dark. Saturna 30-37 is usually 10 knots over water wind. Sandy struggling at 15 knots but it will get to 20 knots. Expect 20-24 knots in water. Nothing special with waist-chest waves... Temperature at 13 degrees, feels like
