I hope point Roberts forecast lows versus the highs are not as drastic Wednesday ! maybe more low 20s to low 30s there, I will decide then what to do and if its a good day to die. Good thing my new girlfriend doesn't know what those graphs means or I would be grounded lol
as of now ETA point Robert around 1030am ,7.5 m kite wt possibly 5.5 m pumped too, surfboard wt leach and twin tip wt 2inch fins, probably no jumping for me as its probably gusty n punchy and I will chicken out.

Saturna just spiked up to 21. Time to start thinking of getting out of work.

sandy shores has no wind (real time). Saturna may be 22 knots SSE, but without a wide front BB may not get much wind.

Take a look at
https://www.wunderground.com/personal-w ... =KWAFERND4

if Saturna and Sandy are stable for 2 hours, then I would drive. This SE seems closer to island than mainland.
Trying to save you a drive, with KD we came up with the formula that saved us from driving there many times.

Never been to Sandy Point. Looks like a good spot. I will check it out this year for sure.

What I meant was ...

Saturna has to be over 20 knots, and at the same time, Sandy Shores over 17 knots. That would give you waist-high waves at BB, and a 1/2 hour lead on the wind to arrive at BB.

I would go Sandy Shore on NW's, to try something different.

Point Roberts camera looks quiet:

tomorrow, by 9am it will become clear if SE is closer to mainland

if Saturna managed to get to 25-30 today, tomorrow is a better forecast. Sandy will decide if surf is good.

I spoke to guy a locust last time I was there who rides sandy point and he said it is a good spot. He said to launch at the southern tip and ride round to the east side for awesome flat water awesomeness.
