Saturna wind has been disappointing for SE's this year. It barely reaches 25 knots ... and goes back down. All it takes is one 35 knot reading to make it fun, but not even close.

I thought today it would go higher by forecast but still under. Michael was expecting more too.

Started to rig and realized I had no boom, rushed back home to get it but looks like it's not worth going back. Probably saved myself a long walk and a swim though. :D Happy Halloween!

Lucky mistake Michael. Another case of “night wind” it seems. Gotta hate this pattern! Hopefully November is much better- I am watching this weekend and hoping to finally rejoin you on the water.

I saw that yesterday as well. Might be an option.

Hey Brian, maybe something tomorrow late afternoon. Just hope it shows up before dark.

Sound like more "trick" than "treat". :D ;)

Latest TAF update predicts that the SE will arrive after dark this evening, and it will clock to a nice NW/W direction for Jericho/Acadia overnight, but it will all be over before dawn. Sure hope they're wrong!!

I am on standby for both, but will only drive if it looks more promising.
