Forecasts have been all over the place, but it looks promising we will get something tomorrow.

High tide @ 9:36 is going to present a challenge for white rock.

Hmm, 3rd and risk the switch?

I have never tried crescent on high tide, but certainly more room to launch (but lots of people).

Crescent is fine on even the highest of tides. You launch from the grass.

S and SW in the morning, WR at sun rise looks doable before the tide gets really.

Is 72 still a usable spot? I haven't been for a a couple years and it is at the end of the bay so not sure if the wind will make it all the way in but it can handle the switch in directions

What is Crescent like? never kited there and always wondered if you could use Blackie spit on a NE

72nd is great, and holds more west than 3rd for sure.

However, I believe ducks are open so you gotta be comfortable with being shot at... safety squint!

I have talked to the hunters and they don’t mind us out there as we generally move the birds inland and towards them

Cresent is a good spot for S to SW and is more launch friendly for kites. Only downside with Cresent is that it is usually choppy. WR on south is the best spot IMHO for S-SW but i'm windsurfing so i'm not as affected by the tide for launch at WR.

Drive down 72nd then stop and park prior to entering the ocean.

Parking at the dyke, cross dyke, path to grass/water is right in front of you.

Despite all the people with guns, theft from the parking lot is aparantly very high.

Kinda “shoots a hole” in NRA therories around how to make things safer.

Being close to Halloween it’s a good idea not to go dressed as any kind of game bird

Hey Grant, if there is wind at Centennial or White Rock tomorrow I think that might be a better option for windsurfing.

Lots of shotguns going off the other day while I was walking the dog in Boundary Bay, so yes full on hunting season.
