Long weekend wind

Sticking around this weekend, looks like maybe NW Sunday morning and SE Monday. Nothing too earth shattering.

We measured 52knots on the beach in WR, then proceeded to have a very windy fall with at least a couple more weekends with 40+knots and many 20+.

whidbey island was cranking yesterday 1.35m wave height.

Friday afternoon seems a repeat...for anybody that wants the drive,

Friday long weekend. OUCH!
Sunday PM looks good at the moment for Whidbey.
Will have to keep an eye on things. I've been lucky. Most trips it's been very worth the trip.

One kite out at Boundary Bay. Might give it a go, some whitecaps out near the mile marker. Tide is on it's way in now.

Was 20+ knots out in Chilliwack when I drove through earlier. Maybe Harrison Lake is cranking today.

Fun afternoon yesterday

Super fun day at Squamish with team Fanatic! Great sailing with Adrien and Vincent. Outside the river was crazy choppy but down at Nexen was fun with some playful swell and lots of windsurfers. Thanks to Vincent for letting me try the 2019 Fanatic Skate, super fun board, I want one! Traffic was bad there and back!

Dawn session was a bit of a bust at Tswassen 1.5 hours on 10m, but could have been on my 15 for an hour of it. Gusty.

Afternoon session on my 15m and borrowed 17m in WR. Fun session with lots of guys out, felt like summer thermal. Wind held in what felt like mid low teens all afternoon.
