Cameo. Tony’s crew had done a good job prepping the putting green! Flat as a pool table. Mike, Cash and a few others enjoyed the early steady wind, ample water and light crowds. Then River tightened, crowd built and things got a little ‘hectic’ (including tomahawking kites, no-look turns and no-look boosting). Warm, flat water, sun made it fun anyway. Seal, jellyfish, and river coconut. 50 kites up when I left. Mags 99 and Burnaby Mountain shuttle mountain bike to round out the day.

Yup it's sad. But I also do the opposite, I look for signs of people who aren't paying attention around them and kiters about to do stupid stuff. I don't expect it to "settle" or get any better even when I reach 50. These people will have kids too so more of them are coming. Just live with it and play defensively or offensively for pre-emptive defense purposes and have fun I guess.
