Couple days now Windy and Bigwavedave have been calling for good times on Saturday.

Super low tide at 2 so will need to work around that for the Ferry Termonal.

Notoriously fickle NW forecast is still holding, maybe even Sunday too.

Could I hitch a ride with someone Saturday morning from Vancouver to Tsawassen? I can pay for gas money :)

Thanks for the heads up. I just looked at the tides and yeah wow it will definitely be a trench session for much of the afternoon. Other NW spots may be better options.

How's the water temp in English Bay now?

I was last out a few weeks ago and wore a 5/4. It was peachy in the water but a little warm when walking to/from the beach. Is it 3/2 time yet or safer with 5/4?

I'll be in my 5/3 but I like to be warm.

I checked the EC and the reading IMHO is way too high. https://weather.gc.ca/marine/weatherConditions-24hrObsHistory_e.html?mapID=02&siteID=14305&stationID=46146

Water temp I believe should be 8.3c as of today.
