Warm. Wasn't on my radar until my daughter called me from Iona and I could hear the wind. Checked the readings and brushed it off until Tsawwassen texted he was headed to CNL. Time to start the weekend an hour early. Got lucky with light traffic and arrived to find the rumours were true - SE wind AND sunshine at CNL! Water was warm enough that Tsawwassen was barefoot, but I didn't want to waste time adjusting foot straps - summer suit and boots for me. Funny to see some wearing gloves. Choppy but the novelty factor of warm air/water and sunshine made it fun. No excuses for not trying stuff with the warm temps and shallow water. Made me ponder what it would be like to live somewhere that warm after work sessions are a regular thing.

Had a decent session at Squamish today. Slappy was right, it was gusty, but silable. I was just happy to get on a water for the first time since October.
Any predictions for Squamish for tomorrow?
