Anyone planning on heading out this afternoon? Looks very south so 3rd, 72nd or ferry terminal?

Got my gear packed but models don't look compelling enough for me to commit

forecast changed, for the afternoon a few more knots than current conditions (but not enough to have waist surf, 23 knots at 12, need 25+ Saturna)

Wed morning, NW in strait 15-20 knots.

Much needed 4 hour session with my 6m. The waves were getting disorienting after a while .

Great fun lit on my 12m from 3:30-6:00. Nice waist high waves to boost off of.

Amazing wave session. 3.5 hrs on 12m then 9m + surfboard. Sweet waist high breaking waves when the sandbars appeared. Tons of hits on fast moving waves. Roxstock, Matt and Cash had a boost fest. Waves also enjoyed by AJ, Ben and Chuck.

:D :D :D
Holy Sh&t that was fun!

Waves were better than anticipated and i regret leaving the surfboard in the car; I had expected the tide to drop faster than it did (tho it did drop pretty fast!) and didn't want to either rip the fins off the surfboard or walk all the way in.

Still managed to perform a lovely toe side hand-drag to fin-catch Superman face scrub in front of Alton on the way in. Thank goodness for the hood I had on, otherwise would have had to dig sand out of my ears to clearly hear Alton's peals of laughter at my misfortune/ass-hatness. That water is damn shallow between the sandbars!

Pretty powered on the 9m even with the winter girth, impressed that Mark was holding down his 12. Eager to hear who has Woo bragging rights as he, Matt ( I think) and the Goateed Wonder were all vying for bragging rights and boosting large!

Fun fun fun, itch scratched, looks like I have to lower my minimums to 6 degrees :?
