I was worried I had waited too long and had missed it but scored some nice rides anyways.
3.7 was perfect by the time I went out and with the wind switching South I managed to score some sweet frontside rides. Had to go way outside where the waves were pumping with some nice long smooth sections. Made it back to shore just as the wind was dying and thankfully Alton and Tony didn't call the Coast Guard. It was a long walk back though from around the 2nd parking lot past the Cafe. I only got in a few reaches but it's amazing how satisfying a few nice rides can be. Thought it was finished when the sun came out but was pleasantly surprised by round 2 in the sun. Went up to 4.7 on the 80L and found some nice ramps and a few nice sets still on the outside.
