Yep, just me ... All alone at centennial... :).

Also a few kites up at 3rd.

About 1 hour 5.3 lightly to nicely powered. Limited waves but is the odd nice little ones. In for a lunch break as last run included a bit of shlogging. Rain seems to be coming.

A session of disappointment - arrived too late (noon) to find everyone coming off the water on 9m in a lull. Waited for the wind to return and only scored 0.5hr on 12m+surfboard. Some nice waist high waves outside for a few hits.

2 hours in rush hour traffic for 0.5 TOW - poor ROI

Today was for early birds (like Mike) and night owls. Like Alton said, best wind was early but most of us missed that. Michael, Dave and I got a short session at dusk that made up for the drive. 5.7/110 litres was the necessary combo for about one hour of planing conditions just before dark. A few nice waves but nothing dramatic. Still nice to be on the water.

Modest. Wind trundled along all day. Mike was there when we arrived but had gotten cold and had a cold - he left. Wind freshened and pulled three more out just in time for it go south and turn into bowling ball gusts. BWD 1 was right, unfortunately METAR TAF and WindGuru GFS were wrong (no late afternoon push). Made the most of it with Tsawwassen and BrianC. Fun for what it was. Dawned mitts for the first time.

By the way, the new iwindsurf sensor for Boundary Bay does not seem to correlate with what we experienced today. The wind was definitely stronger from 345-430 than the hour prior, but the graph that Alton posted shows otherwise. I suggest that you not rely on it until we figure out the nuances of the new sensor location.

Like Alton said!
Did get in about 30 minutes just before dark, still too much slogging around though.

I've been noticing the ikite sensor gives a much worse representation of the wind now that the old location. I actually favour CZBB for conditions on the water now.
