Any windsurfers considering today. To my eye 10am may be the sweet spot as not too much of a walk to water from centennial where the waves are. Also still low enough tide for maybe smoother waves than later? Thoughts?

Heading to the boat launch now, probably sail down wind to Centennial later.

ok, wind looks great now so why chance it? I have a short window today so I'll hopefully cross paths.

Fun day, started on 4.7 and after one reach quickly came in and rigged the 4.3, went back out and it had backed off a bit but the 4.3 was just right. Really nice to be in control compared to yesterday. Some nice waves set up and I got in some nice jumps and rides. Hit a big lip late and got thrown clear off my board. Things really ramped up and I went down to the 3.7, it was nice at first but the wind got weird and at moments it felt like it was going to shut down, then it would full on crank again. There were a few sections were the waves were breaking nicely but the current from the flooding tide was so strong you couldn't get planning, at one point it felt like my board just got sucked right under water and a big wave closed out on top of me. Ended up sailing down to Centennial where there were some clean waves but they seemed to have flattened out a bit so I packed it in.

2 consecutive days. Sweet. Again, took the early morning session to enjoy beautifully organized waves that come with low tide. After 1.5 hours on 7m+surfboard waves became increasingly disorganized and wind got too strong to enjoy so called it quits.

Really fun session. Earlier was better than later. Launched from boat ramp at 9am, 4.2m and 84l, perfect until it ramped up. Rigged down to 3.7m. Good for a while then wind became holey, full on then off again, kangaroo gas. Waves were cleaner earlier. Felt like a smaller board, bigger sail would have worked better towards the end. Sounds like my experience was similar to yours Michael. Challenging to keep up wind with flooding tide. Tired after full on work out for 2 hours. 2 days in a row, woohoo!

I showed up at 11:45 and went straight out on my 7m. Great session, some nicely set up chest high waves and the wind felt much steadier than yeaterday and the graph Alton posted. Went for one last tack out and tried to get one last big boost in and ended landing downwind of my kite. As it fell it inverted and the bridle got itself into some weird tangle that I could free up. Luckily I self rescued and AJ towed me in to shore and Eugene grabbed my board. All worth it as I got a new PB on my Woo! :D . 2 7m days back to back and 2 swims to end the sessions, I’ll take it.
