this morning predict of ENE were wrong end up like a SE that by 1130issh thanked, was supposedly good and powered till 11, . when I left around 1230 , it didn't look good for a ENE to come so drive back without riding.looks like windguru predict update was right on and gspot 10pm one was off.
A kitemare happen at 3rd when I launched a kiter at 1045 am at 3rd av. and the kite went Out of Control!!! he finally ejected close to a house, I Was so anxious and afraid for him, after my last kiting session that I myself got hurt, it was weird to see another kiter nearly got hurt bad.
Reason of his kitemare: he bought new set of line in North Van and the back lines where 1 1/2 feet or so Shorter!!! wtf,why they don't design kite lines of equal length for all models, stupid companies! that was really f@#k.

I too kite Jericho on NE wind sometimes and it's decent.

I like Tolmie St. best on NE, it's really nice being able to stay right near the shore and have steady wind instead of the swirly gusty crap near shore on a W or NW.

I also stay chest deep or shallower though on E or NE.

The thing about NE at Jericho though is it doesn't come from NE forecasts for Vancouver. It's generally created by SE or E forecast wind that's swirling up in to the city then back out in to the straight. Like currently it's 22 knots SE at bbay and 14 knots at Jericho ENE.
