Who's the expert on weather patterns near Osoyoos lake? Should I bring my big gear this week

I have kited there a few times and have found that it comes, switches direction and shuts off, all very quickly. Wind alert seems to be ok at giving the timing and direction right but not the wind speed. Just be ready for things to change quickly.
